What should I wear for my cryotherapy session? For your cryotherapy session you will need to expose your body. To do this we recommend our male clients wear their boxer shorts/shorts of some description and our female clients wear a sports bra/bikini top and pants/shorts. You cannot wear an underwired bra or jewellery in the chamber, this includes body piercings. In the event that these cannot be removed, we will recommend these be covered with your hands during your session.. Your skin will need to be dry upon entering the chamber so any water/sweat will need to be removed. We have fresh clean towels for you to use should this be the case. We will provide you with gloves and a pair of shoes to enter the chamber. For sanitary reasons, we will ask you to keep your socks on when wearing our shoes however, we do have clean socks in the event you do not have any.

What will happen during my cryotherapy appointment? For first time users we will ensure your consent form has been filled out and have an initial consultation to gain information as to why you are looking to use cryotherapy and talk about what would be the best plan for you. We will explain the procedure before hand and answer any questions that you may have before getting you ready for your session. Once you have changed we will get you into the chamber and start your session. If at any point you feel unwell or would like to end your session we will get you out straight away. Once your session has finished, we will ask that you get dressed and do 1 minutes light exercise on your bike to increase your heart rate. If you are not able to use this simple walking will do. If you have any specific areas of soreness/injuries, we will use the theragun to target those areas and bring the blood to the surface to further promote healing. We will send you on your way with a coffee/bottle of water.
